Qaani, Ghalibaf offer their condolences for Sinwar's martyrdom
The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran affirms the readiness of the country's defensive and security capabilities to confront any threat.
"Our enemies know very well that the assassinations of the Resistance and revolutionary leaders and the genocide of their people will never constitute a strategic or military achievement for them," Iran’s Parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated on Tuesday.
He further noted that the "fake entity has lost its security at the blessings of the martyrs' blood and victories."
Discussing Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar's martyrdom, Ghalibaf said it was a great loss to Iran, the Islamic nation, and the free people of the world. However, it will not stop the victories, nor the clear path, which grows stronger and persists further by the day, he added.
Ghalibaf's affirmations came during a meeting with Khaled Qaddoumi, the representative of the Hamas movement in Tehran, Iran. The visit came within the scope of extending his condolences amid the martyrdom of Sinwar.
The Commander of the Quds Force of the IRGC, General Esmail Qaani, also visited the Palestinain group's office for the same purpose.

On the alleged Israeli attack on Iran
In a related context, in response to Israeli threats against Iran, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Mohammad Eslami, affirmed the readiness of the country's defensive and security capabilities to confront any threat.
On his part, the senior advisor to the commander of the Iranian Army's Ground Forces, Brigadier General Mihan Dost, underscored that the air defense systems of the Iranian Army are highly prepared, ensuring that no drone or warplane can penetrate Iranian airspace or carry out any attack.
Dost emphasized that the Iranian Army possesses a strong defensive system, adding that Tehran will take immediate action when necessary.
Iran has clearly conveyed in discussions with UN officials and other involved parties that its operations against "Israel", carried out in April and October this year, were fully within the Islamic Republic’s right to self-defense and were direct responses to the Israeli regime's actions, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said on Monday.
During his weekly press briefing in Tehran, Baghaei underscored that Iran remains committed to countering Israeli aggression by utilizing all available means, with a particular focus on the strength of its security and military forces.
When asked about the leaked reports about the Israeli bank of targets in Iran, Baghaei declined to comment directly but reiterated that “what is certain is that Iran will respond decisively to any hostile actions by the Zionist regime.”
