Qatar condemns, requests investigation into al-Shifa hospital invasion
The Qatari Foreign Ministry calls on the international community to take “swift and decisive measures” to hold "Israel" accountable, and asks the UN to dispatch its forces to Gaza for an investigation.
In a statement published on Wednesday, the Qatari Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli forces for storming the al-Shifa hospital in Gaza, calling it “a war crime and a blatant violation of international laws,” adding that it caused the death of innocent children as it called for the launch of an international investigation into the matter.
It argued that independent UN investigators should be sent to Gaza to carry out "an immediate and comprehensive" investigation after the IOF deployed soldiers, tanks, and bulldozers to the hospital, which happens to be the largest medical complex in Gaza.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry called on the international community to take “swift and decisive measures” to hold "Israel" accountable.
“The international community’s silence on the blatant crimes against humanity committed by the occupation forces against the Palestinian people could embolden Israel to perpetrate more atrocities,” it added, continuing: "Such a scenario... not only poses a direct threat to regional stability but also erodes trust in the international community and its institutions."

"Israel" attempted to justify its atrocities by saying that Hamas has headquarters underneath the hospital, which has now run out of fuel causing power generators to shut down - cutting off oxygen and killing premature babies.

Hiding behind the US
The Jordanian Foreign Ministry already condemned the Israeli raid on the hospital and accused "Israel" of violating international humanitarian law, along with the Geneva Convention for the protection of civilians.
The Hamas movement held the Israeli occupation and US President Joe Biden responsible for the raid on al-Shifa, pointing out that the White House's adoption of the Israeli narrative about the Palestinian Resistance using the Complex was a green light for "Israel" to commit further massacres.
"We hold the occupation and President Biden wholly responsible for the assault on the al-Shifa medical complex," Hamas said in a statement.
"The adoption by the White House and the Pentagon of the occupation's false claim that the resistance is using the al-Shifa medical complex for military ends has given the green light to the occupation to commit more massacres against civilians."
After besieging the hospital and bombing it on several occasions, Israeli occupation forces finally withdrew from Al-Shifa Hospital with no evidence supporting their claims.
The White House has attempted to evade responsibility for "Israel's" raid of Al-Shifa hospital after it claimed evidence of Hamas running operations out of the hospital.
John Kirby claimed the US did not "green light" the operation in any way, adding that such decisions were exclusively Israeli ones. Kirby refused to go into details regarding what was discussed via phone call by Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday or if the administration had been warned about the incoming raid.
