Republicans minority on the House Judiciary Committee issued a 1,000-page report on Friday accusing the FBI of rampant politicization and malfeasance.

According to The Daily Mail, the devastating file stated that the bureau is "rotten at its core," distorted domestic violent extremism figures for political goals, and minimized probes and "serious allegations of wrongdoing" brought about by Hunter Biden.

Republican members of the Committee also said whistleblowers have come forward with charges of "rampant corruption, manipulation, and abuse" and that conservative staff had been fired.

The study was written without the assistance of the dominant party on the committee, the Democrats, and was released four days before the midterm elections, signaling that the GOP will target the FBI if they win the House majority.

The report included copies of letters addressed by the Committee to the FBI and the Joe Biden administration describing the allegations.

It details Republican Senator Chuck Grassley's revelation that agent Tim Thibault was part of a "scheme" to discredit derogatory information on President Joe Biden's son and caused allegations from the laptop to be "falsely" labeled as "disinformation".

"The Federal Bureau of Investigation, under the stewardship of Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland, is broken," the GOP report stated, adding, "The problem lies not with the majority of front-line agents who serve our country, but with the FBI's politicized bureaucracy."

The Republicans are calling it "the first comprehensive accounting of the FBI's problems to date, which undermine the FBI's fundamental law-enforcement mission."

In reaction to the report, the FBI told DailyMail.com that it "follows facts, not politics." "The FBI has testified to Congress and responded to letters from legislators on numerous occasions to provide an accurate accounting of how we do our work," it read.

"The men and women of the FBI devote themselves to protecting the American people from terrorism, violent crime, cyber threats, and other dangers," it added.

"Put quite simply: we follow the facts without regard for politics. While outside opinions and criticism often come with the job, we will continue to follow the facts wherever they lead, do things by the book, and speak through our work," it said.

Republicans accuse the FBI of abusing foreign surveillance authorities and using counterterrorism resources to target parents during extremely divisive school board meetings during the outbreak. "Over the last year, a multitude of whistleblowers have approached Judiciary Committee Republicans with allegations of political bias by the FBI's senior leadership and misuses of the agency's federal law -enforcement powers," the report added.

"These whistleblowers have risked their careers out of fidelity to principle and a commitment to restoring public trust in the FBI. This report begins to tell their stories," it said.

"Even at this early stage, one startling conclusion is clear: the FBI and its parent agency, the Justice Department, have become political institutions," it added.

Americans "deserve to have confidence that the enormous power and reach of federal law enforcement will be used fairly and free of any indication of politicization, the report continued to say. "The FBI has the power, quite literally, to ruin a person's life - to invade their residence, to take their property, and even deprive them of their liberty."

In its first summary of the Hunter investigation, the report says there is "mounting evidence from the last two years" that he "received preferential treatment from federal law enforcement who seemed to have turned a blind eye to the potential national security threats presented by his business dealings with Chinese, Russian and other foreign nationals."

It also details how the FBI "colluded" with Facebook in the weeks leading up to the 2020 election to "suppress information" about the scandal-plagued President's son and the alleged $3.5 million payment he received from the wife of a former Moscow mayor.

"The way the FBI has approached the allegations concerning Hunter Biden and the Biden family is especially striking when considered alongside public information about how the FBI leadership has aggressively used law- enforcement authorities against conservatives," the report read.

Concerns about Hunter's business operations were originally reported to the FBI during Barack Obama's presidency, according to the report, particularly because of his participation on the board of Ukrainian corporation Burisma.

The allegations regarding the involvement with Hunter's investigation and the claims that the FBI manipulated domestic violent extremism statistics for political purposes have already been disclosed. However, the article also included fresh charges, such as the FBI attempting to "purge" personnel who hold conservative beliefs or are opposed to "woke" diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Whistleblowers further claim that agents on the ground who are ordinarily in charge of criminal investigations are being diverted. One whistleblower alleged he was "told that child sexual abuse material investigations were no longer an FBI priority and should be referred to local law enforcement agencies."
