Resistance Committees: US, Israeli leaks on deal are disinformation
Palestinian Resistance Committees emphasize that there will be no prisoner exchange deal unless the demands of the Palestinian people and their Resistance are met.
The Palestinian Resistance Committees stressed, on Thursday, that the frequent leaks by US and Israeli sources, in conjunction with their deceptive media apparatus, regarding the prisoner exchange deal being negotiated, aim at deceiving and misleading the Palestinian public.
In a press statement issued by the media office of the Resistance Committees, it was noted that these leaks aim at "misleading the world, diverting attention from the ongoing crimes, massacres, and genocide in the Gaza Strip, and silencing and misleading the families of Israeli captives, in order to alleviate domestic popular pressure from the criminal Benjamin Netanyahu and his fascist government."
In this context, the Resistance Committees emphasized that there would be no deals or agreements unless the demands of the Palestinian people and their Resistance, which have been set as constants, were met.
The Resistance Committees emphasized that the achievement of their goals requires increased resilience, impactful strikes, and strategic operations while confronting the Israeli occupation. They also extended their salute to the heroic Resistance fighters in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, and Iraq.
This statement follows the visit of an Israeli delegation to Cairo on Tuesday for participation in a security meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss a potential prisoner exchange deal with Hamas and the ongoing aggression in Rafah.
Sources disclose Israeli response to ceasefire deal: Exclusive
Palestinian sources disclosed to Al Mayadeen on Wednesday "Israel's" response to the Resistance's ceasefire proposal, which involves a three-stage plan with requests for several concessions but does not include the complete withdrawal of Israeli troops.
The first stage, according to the sources, will comprise a 35-day-long ceasefire and will have the possibility of being extended for an additional seven days.
The second stage could last 30 days, the sources added, noting that the third stage does not have a specified timeframe.
Concerning the clause on troop withdrawal, the sources stated that "Israel" requested substituting the word "populated" with "heavily populated" to indicate that the troops would remain stationed in uninhabited areas.
They further said that "Israel" rectified a clause about rehabilitating hospitals but not rebuilding them.
Moreover, they agreed to suspend flights over Gaza for only six hours each day.
