Journalist Amro Manasrah tells Al Mayadeen that Israeli helicopters fired heavy machine gun rounds toward civilian homes in the Jenin refugee camp.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported early Sunday that six people were martyred in an Israeli shelling of a gathering of civilians in Jenin.
At least 327 Palestinians have been killed at the hands of Israeli occupation forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank since October 7, according to a count by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
Journalist Firas Tneineh mentioned that the occupation forces assassinated six Palestinian youths, including four brothers, in Jenin while they were on their way to work.
Sources confirmed to Al Mayadeen that Palestinian Resistance fighters are engaged with Israeli occupation forces in the al-Maajeen neighborhood in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.
The sources report intense confrontations as Resistance fighters continue to repel the Israeli forces' incursions into Nablus, Qalqilya, Jenin, and Areeha.
Israeli Apache helicopters were flying at low altitudes in the sky over Jenin and opened fire toward a site in Jenin. Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces brought reinforcements to the city, accompanied by a military bulldozer through the al-Jalameh checkpoint.
Journalist Amro Manasrah told Al Mayadeen that Israeli helicopters fired heavy machine gun rounds toward civilian homes in the Jenin refugee camp, coinciding with the ongoing confrontations between Palestinian Resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces in the camp.
Manasrah pointed out that the raiding occupation forces faced a heavy hail of bullets and explosives in the al-Jabriyat area near the Jenin camp, adding that the Israeli military was taken by surprise by the quantity and size of the explosives that detonated among its forces during the incursion into the camp.
The journalist also confirmed injuries among the Israeli occupation forces in the al-Jabriyat area, some of whom were evacuated by ambulances and helicopters.
The Israeli occupation military confirmed that four of its soldiers were injured by Resistance gunfire in Jenin and that two of them are in critical condition.
Witnesses informed Al Mayadeen of injuries among the occupation forces due to targeting with explosive devices and gunfire in the vicinity of the Jenin camp. Reports indicated that the Palestinian Resistance fighters used homemade explosive devices, some of which were highly explosive.
