The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that its Resistance fighters killed 10 Israeli soldiers on Thursday in a top-tier operation east of al-Nazzaz Street in the al-Shujaiya neighborhood in Gaza City.

According to a statement, the al-Qassam fighters targeted a building where an Israeli force was fortified with a TBG rocket, then advanced toward the building and killed the remaining soldiers from point-blank range.

In addition, the Brigades' fighters detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) inside the building while withdrawing from the location.

Later, Israeli helicopters were dispatched to the scene to evacuate the casualties and injuries.
