Resistance still fighting in Jabalia despite IOF claims of taking city
The Resistance remains steadfast in confronting the Israeli invading forces across all Gaza axes.
Palestinian Resistance fighters have been engaged in fierce battles against Israeli occupation forces in various sectors of the Gaza Strip since the early hours of Wednesday morning, causing heavy losses for the invading army, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported.
Intense confrontations are particularly concentrated in the vicinity of Khan Younis in southern Gaza and the al-Maghraqa area to the north of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, he said.
Meanwhile, massive explosions were heard east of Khan Younis, coinciding with intense and concentrated Israeli artillery shelling.
Our correspondent affirmed that the Palestinian Resistance, after three weeks of the Israeli incursion into Gaza, remains resilient and strong.
Despite the occupation's claims and objectives to "eradicate" the Resistance, ground developments are revealing that this is not the case, with no signs that this will change shortly. This was evident when Hamas' Al-Qassam struck "Tel Aviv" with a barrage of rockets on Tuesday as the war entered its 12th week.
Israelis lied about taking Jabalia
Earlier this week, the Israeli army claimed that its forces took control of Jabalia, following over 70 days of concentrated bombardment, which resulted in the martyrdom of thousands of Palestinians, and nonstop attempts to advance since the beginning of the ground offensive.

However, confrontations with the Resistance are still taking place in the city amid heavy continuous Israeli strikes, refuting the Israeli announcement.
On that note, Israeli forces attempted, after countless massacres and massive destruction, to enter the Jabalia camp from the western side over the past two weeks but failed and retreated to the eastern and northern outskirts of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.
Furthermore, he pointed out that the Israeli occupation forces, after their failed attempts from the western side, sought to enter the camp from the southern direction of Jabalia town, but those attempts also proved unsuccessful.
Earlier today, the Israeli occupation military confirmed that a reserve officer with the rank of captain was killed Tuesday in the ongoing battles in southern Gaza and that another soldier was seriously injured, bringing the total number of occupation soldiers killed in Gaza since the start of the invasion to 133.
