In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Hamas' representative in Lebanon Ahmed Abdel Hadi, affirmed that the Israeli occupation will not subdue the Palestinian people, "who have decided to stand with the Resistance and endure [sacrifices] alongside it."

Abdel Hadi emphasized that while the Resistance is pained by the massacres "Israel" is committing in Gaza, it will not succumb to the conditions of the occupation and the complicit US administration.

He stressed that the support fronts for the Resistance not only back the Palestinian people on the battlefield but also in the political and diplomatic arenas, highlighting the significant role of these fronts, which are raising great concern for Washington.

The Israeli occupation forces committed a heinous massacre in Khan Younis on Saturday after bombing a tent city hosting forcibly displaced families in the al-Mawasi area, killing over 70 Palestinians.

The entity claimed it had targeted leaders of al-Qassam, including its chief Mohammad Deif.

Hamas denied the Israeli claims, saying that "this is not the first time the occupation has claimed to target Palestinian leaders, only to be proven false later. These false claims are merely an attempt to cover up the scale of the horrific massacre."

Abdel Hadi said the massacre is "part of the bitter failure of the occupation and its predicament in the battlefield."

No conditional ceasefire

For his part, Marwan Abdel Aal, a member of the Political Bureau of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, confirmed to Al Mayadeen that the Resistance refuses to accept a conditional ceasefire, stressing that the occupation is delusional in this regard.

He pointed out that the Israeli government "is acting hysterically rather than having a plan, and understands only the language of massacres," adding that the occupation reveals its true nature with each massacre.

Abdel Aal considered that the Palestinians are negotiating from a position of strength despite the Israeli massacres because "[Palestinians] rely not only on the Resistance in Gaza but also on more than one supporting front."
