There are emerging "rumors" that several US generals were caught by authorities shredding certain documents, retired US General Douglas Macgregor said on Tuesday, adding that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) raided the homes of several officers from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

On his account on platform X, Macgregor cited an X account, "ExxAlerts," which shared a post by American broadcaster and former One America News Network chief White House correspondent Emerald Robinson.

"Rumor: I'm hearing that some generals were caught shredding documents," Robinson claimed, adding that "the FBI has raided the homes of some CIA officials."

She ended the post saying she was working to verify the information.

MacGregor also shared a post saying FBI personnel were "busted destroying server evidence."

The retired general did not specify the exact date of the raids, though they are believed to have taken place recently.

Earlier, the BizPac Review news website reported that FBI whistleblower Garret O’Boyle has alleged that certain FBI personnel began destroying evidence following the confirmation of Director Kash Patel.

It recalled that O’Boyle previously testified before Congress in 2013, warning that "the FBI will crush you … and your family if you try to expose the truth about things they are doing."

Speaking on conservative commentator Benny Johnson’s show this week, O’Boyle reiterated his concerns with a new, explosive allegation.

BREAKING: A whistleblower just revealed that the FBI is deleting massive amounts of evidence so Kash Patel & Dan Bongino can't use it.

"There are FBI servers that are sort of standalone, and people inside the FBI have been working night and day to destroy files on these servers," he stated.

"And I was told that once these files are destroyed — the way they are set up — even Elon Musk could not restore them. So that’s happening right now as we speak. That’s happening with Kash Patel being the director. It was happening before he got there. So that’s subversion," O’Boyle added.

He further claimed that some of the approximately 1,500 FBI employees ordered to leave Washington, DC, have been resisting the directive.

These revelations coincide with a new CNN report highlighting concerns within the intelligence community. According to the report, some senior CIA officials fear that mass firings and buyouts could result in disgruntled former employees leaking sensitive information to foreign intelligence agencies.

"[O]n the CIA’s 7th floor — home to top leadership — some officers are also quietly discussing how mass firings and the buyouts already offered to staff risk creating a group of disgruntled former employees who might be motivated to take what they know to a foreign intelligence service," the report states.

Reacting to the CNN report, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk said the CIA's top leadership is "worried anti-Trump personnel may be motivated to sell out America to a foreign power."

CNN now says that "top leadership" at the CIA are worried anti-Trump personnel may by motivated to sell out America to a foreign power.

Sitting Congress member Anna Paulina Luna also said that "there is a massive war happening in the intelligence agencies right now."

"The corruption being exposed right now is actual treason…," she added.
