According to the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD), the Russian forces have advanced another 4 km, overtaking 5 settlements. 

Yesterday, Russian defense ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said that Russian forces had fully seized control of Izyum in the Kharkov region.

51 Ukrainian military targets have been eliminated, according to the MoD.

A major fuel base in Kiev was destroyed with sea-based Kalibr high-precision long-range cruise missiles.

Twenty-four units of military equipment were hit by Russian Ka-52 and Mi-28n helicopters, including 7 tanks, 5 infantry vehicles, and 3 armored personnel carriers overnight. 

Two Ukrainian drones were shot down by Russian air defense forces. 

Since the start of the operation, a total of 261 drones, 204 anti-aircraft missile systems, 1,587 tanks, and other armored combat vehicles, 163 multiple launch rocket systems, 636 field artillery, and mortars, and 1,397 Ukrainian special military vehicles.

Russia launched its special military operation for several reasons, including NATO's eastward expansion. Other reasons were the Ukrainian shelling of Donbass and the killing of the people of the Donetsk People's Republic and Lugansk People's Republic, in addition to Moscow wanting to "denazify" and demilitarize Ukraine.
