Meanwhile, in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Russian forces under the "West" and "South" groupings reportedly made tactical gains, engaging Ukrainian mechanized and artillery brigades in areas including Izyumske, Borovaya, and Kostiantynivka. Russian officials estimate that Ukraine suffered up to 545 casualties in these sectors, along with the destruction of tanks, multiple armored vehicles, and Western-supplied artillery systems.

Fierce battles were also reported in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, where Russian forces claim to have inflicted heavy losses on Ukrainian coastal defense and mountain assault brigades. The "Dnieper" military grouping reportedly struck enemy positions near Pridneprovskoye, Nikolskoye, and Tokarevka, eliminating nearly 90 personnel and destroying Ukrainian military hardware, including electronic warfare stations.

The Russian Defense Ministry further stated that its forces carried out precision strikes on Ukrainian military infrastructure, targeting airfields, drone production facilities, and troop concentrations. The report also noted the interception of four US-made JDAM guided bombs and the downing of 141 Ukrainian drones.

Since the beginning of the conflict, Moscow reports having destroyed 658 Ukrainian aircraft, 283 helicopters, nearly 47,000 drones, and over 22,000 armored combat vehicles.

Kiev has not yet officially responded to these latest claims, and independent verification of battlefield losses remains difficult due to the ongoing war. Despite ongoing battles, diplomatic efforts for a ceasefire continue.
