Russian MoD releases update on latest tally of the war in Ukraine
The Russian Ministry of Defense lists Ukrainian losses in recent combat days.
The Russian Ministry of Defense released a statement on Monday revealing the latest updates on the Ukrainian war.
The Ministry presented the losses of the Ukrainian army since the beginning of the war, in addition to recent actions carried out by Russia's forces.
The statement revealed that 5 AFU command posts, along with 56 artillery units and 163 bases holding personnel and military equipment, were destroyed by Russia’s operational-tactical and army aviation, in addition to missile troops and artillery units.
Russian AD units intercepted and shot down 13 drones during the past 24 hours and destroyed 19 projectiles mid-air launched by HIMARS and Olkha systems, while Russia's Aerospace Forces downed the DPR 1 Ukrainian Su-24 war jet.
The MoD also stated that radiation levels at Zaporozhye nuclear power plant are still within normal range, while Kiev has not stopped yet its provocation in the area.

As per the statement, Russian forces have destroyed since the beginning of the war around 302 warplanes and 155 helicopters, in addition to 377 AD systems and 2,087 drones. The Ukrainian ground forces also lost 5,114 tanks and other armored military vehicles, as well as 3,417 artillery cannons and mortars and 845 military vehicles with MLRS systems and a total of 5,904 special military equipment.
