Russia's MoD reveals hundreds of Ukrainian losses on three fronts
Russian forces kill 340 Ukrainian troops in the Donetsk region alone while thwarting multiple attacks in Zaporozhye and Kramsy Liman.
Russian forces have advanced one kilometer into the frontline in the region of Kharkov as the Ukrainian counteroffensive continues to amass losses, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday.
"Over the last day, the advance of Russian units amounted to more than a kilometer in depth and up to two kilometers along the front. The advancing units captured the Molchanovo railway station in the Kharkov region," the Ministry of Defense stated.
Furthermore, the ministry announced that Russian forces killed more than 340 Ukrainian troops and destroyed 15 pieces of military equipment in the 24 hours in the Donetsk region.
"Over the past day, more than 340 Ukrainian personnel, two tanks, three armored combat vehicles, four pickup trucks, a German-made Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzer, two Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery mounts, a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mount, and two D-30 howitzers have been destroyed," the statement read.

Moreover, the Russian military said that it hit military facilities in the port city of Odessa, saying, "At night Russia's armed forces carried out a group strike with long-range precision-guided air-launched weapons against military industrial facilities, infrastructure for fuel, and ammunition depots of the Ukrainian armed forces near the city of Odessa."
These events add to a substantial amount of Ukrainian losses that the West is struggling to replace. Peace talks have been continuously pushed aside by the Ukrainian side and its allies, who placed their bets on the success of the failing counteroffensive.
