Sanaa Defense Minister to 'Israel': 'We promise you many surprises'
The Defense Minister in the Sanaa government stresses that "Israel" and its backers are taking Yemen into serious consideration "before committing any folly."
Sanaa will not withhold barrages of ballistic, hypersonic, and cruise missiles, as well as drones, from the enemies, affirmed Yemen's Defense Minister in the Sanaa government, Mohammad al-Atifi, asserting that the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) will continue targeting deep within the Israeli occupation entity's core.
Al-Atifi vowed that the YAF will deliver "many surprises" to the Israeli occupation and continue striking its hideouts, as witnessed in the occupied cities of Yafa (Tel Aviv) and Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat). He stressed that "Israel" and its backers are taking Yemen into serious consideration "before committing any folly."
Referring to a "stage of open, sensitive, and long-term warfare," al-Atifi reiterated that Yemen takes all possibilities of confrontation into consideration, closely monitoring the region's evolving political, military, and geopolitical shifts, and emphasized its preparedness for all challenges ahead.
Additionally, the Defense Minister highlighted that Yemen’s military establishment is witnessing rapid advancement in training and capacity-building, alongside major modernization of the military-industrial system, in anticipation of any developments.
He also pointed out that Sanaa is working to build a capable defensive military force, able to impose both political and military equations while preserving the sovereignty of the Republic of Yemen over all its territories.
Moreover, al-Atifi warned Yemen’s aggressors of the past decade against "crossing red lines or meddling in the country's internal affairs," stressing the urgency for "invaders and aggressors to swiftly schedule their withdrawal from Yemen’s territories and islands," while also cautioning them against experiencing "the bitterness of our military readiness."
"Those who persist in opposing and besieging our people into a tenth year should not mistake our strategic patience for weakness," he underlined.
On Saturday, the leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi emphasized that the country possesses a highly advanced arsenal, unmatched by many nations, with its missile capabilities being a key symbol of this development and effectiveness.
According to Sayyed al-Houthi, Yemen is at an advanced level in terms of drone technology, naval power, and the formation and development of ground forces, producing the necessary requirements.
