Sanaa Government: Deterrence Operations Incur Heavy Losses on KSA
Information Minister of the Sanaa government Daifallah al-Shami assures that future deterrence operations will be more severe if the Saudi war doesn’t come to an end and the blockade is not lifted.
Information Minister of the Sanaa government Daifallah al-Shami hailed the eighth operation Balance of Deterrence, which targeted military and vital sites in Saudi Arabia.
Al-Shami said that the operation "comes within the framework of the legitimate right of response, guaranteed by national laws and international covenants, against the continuation of the US-Saudi aggression and full blockade on Yemen."
The top Yemeni figure affirmed that future deterrence operations will be more severe if the Saudi war doesn’t come to an end and the blockade is not lifted.
"The Yemeni people won’t stand idly toward the crimes committed by the coalition and the unjust siege it has imposed for seven years,” he added.
Al-Shami assured that "the balance of power and deterrence which is carried out by the armed forces incur heavy losses on Saudi Arabia, thus breaking its arrogance despite a heavy media blackout."
These operations "send a clear message to US-backed aggressors that Yemen possesses strategic deterrent weapons capable of curbing coalition forces."
On his account, Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced on Saturday that “our forces carried out the eighth operation Balance of Deterrence in response to the escalation of the Saudi-led aggression and its crimes and siege."
General Saree reiterated that the armed forces will face any escalation with further escalation until the aggression stops and the siege is lifted.
Earlier, Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that hit-and-run battles between the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees, on the one hand, and Hadi's forces and the al-Islah party backed by the Saudi-led coalition planes, on the other, continue in the areas south and west of the Marib Governorate.
As part of the ongoing violations against Yemeni civilians, a civilian was martyred and five others were wounded by Saudi-led coalition forces artillery shelling on the Munabbih border district, west of Saada Governorate, north of Yemen.
