Sanaa International Airport and Al-Misbahi bridge are out of service due to the Saudi-led coalition airstrikes.
Saudi-led coalition forces have launched four airstrikes targeting the populated residential neighborhood in the Al-Sabeen area in southern Sanaa, resulting in damages in Al-Sabeen Maternity and Child Hospital as well as Al-Shaab Mosque.
Another Saudi-led coalition airstrike resulted in blocking the vital Al-Sabeen square road leading to Al-Tahrir Square, Al-Setteen Street, and Al-Misbahi tunnel in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, which stopped the traffic in the area.
In the same context, the fighters of the Saudi-led coalition re-targeted the al-Balaq eastern mountain in Wadi Ubaidah District, southeast of the city of Marib, with 27 raids, in light of the raging bloody battles between the government forces of Sanaa on the one hand, and the forces of President Hadi backed by the Saudi-led coalition aircraft on the other hand, on the outskirts extending between the Kara area and the eastern Al-Balaq Mountain.
The Saudi-led coalition fighters launched six raids on the districts of Al-Juba and Serwah, west of the city of Marib, northeastern Yemen, as well as 20 airstrikes on the southern and eastern neighborhoods of Al-Yatama area, the administrative center of the Khabb and Al-Shaaf District bordering Saudi Arabia’s Najran in Al-Jawf Governorate, northeastern Yemen.
This comes after the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees were able to seize large parts of the strategic Al-Yatama area, west of the vast district of the Khabb and Al-Shaaf, as well as the major districts of the desert governorate of Al-Jawf.
The Saudi-led coalition airstrikes also targeted the Maqnabah District in the western countryside of Taiz Governorate.
During the past three days, the Saudi-led coalition warplanes have launched around 100 raids in Al-Balaq eastern mountain, in parallel with repeated attempts by the Saudi coalition to support the Hadi forces in an aim to prevent and slow down the progress of the Yemeni army toward Marib, the last and most important fortress of Hadi government forces and Saudi coalition northern Yemen.
The Minister of Defense in the Sanaa government, Major General Muhammad Al-Atifi had pointed out earlier in October that most of the districts of the Marib Governorate have been secured by the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees, emphasizing that "the reclaiming of Marib is inevitable."
