The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, received a senior Hamas delegation headed by the movement’s Deputy Chief in the Gaza Strip, Khalil al-Hayya.
Hezbollah released a statement announcing the meeting, adding that Sayyed Nasrallah and the Hamas delegation discussed the latest developments in the battlefield in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as well as the multiple support fronts.
The meeting also discussed "the course of the ongoing negotiations to reach an end to the aggression on Gaza and to ensure that the Resistance’s conditions that serve the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people are met.”
This meeting comes within the framework of joint communication and coordination between the various factions of the Axis of Resistance, ongoing since the beginning of the war on October 7 last year.
Sayyed Nasrallah had previously met with several leaders of the Palestinian Resistance, including Hamas, the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine (PIJ), and other Resistance factions operating in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
