The Secretary General of Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah received a senior Hamas delegation headed by the movement’s Deputy Chief in the Gaza Strip, Khalil al-Hayya along with senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan.
Hezbollah released a statement announcing the meeting, adding that Sayyed Nasrallah and the Hamas delegation discussed the latest developments in the battlefield in the Gaza Strip, as well as the multiple support fronts.
The meeting also discussed the course of the ongoing negotiations to reach an end to the aggression on Gaza and to ensure that the Resistance’s conditions that serve the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people are met.
The two sides reaffirmed their united stance and the continuation of efforts in politics, Resistance, and all fields to achieve the Resistance's desired goals.
This meeting comes within the framework of joint communication and coordination between the various factions of the Axis of Resistance since Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. It is also worth noting that the Israeli security cabinet met on Thursday evening as "Israel" approved sending a delegation to renewed negotiations for a ceasefire, following Hamas' submission of its latest amendments to the proposed deal.
Sayyed Nasrallah has previously met with several leaders of the Palestinian Resistance, including Hamas, the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine (PIJ), and other Resistance factions operating in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
