Israeli media has extensively covered the speech delivered by Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on Thursday. The speech was part of a memorial ceremony for Hezbollah senior leader Sami Taleb Abdallah and his companions, who were martyred days earlier in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon.

In their initial responses, Israeli outlets described Sayyed Nasrallah's address as one of his strongest ever. They noted that the Hezbollah leader appeared more convinced than ever that a comprehensive war was unavoidable.

According to the media, Sayyed Nasrallah is determined to continue the current battle for Gaza until a ceasefire is achieved, undeterred by Israeli threats and mediators.

Israeli newspaper Haaretz said the "empty promises that Israel will be able to destroy Hamas and revert Lebanon to the Stone Age have now been exposed."

The publication also quoted former Israeli ambassador to Cairo, Zvi Barel, saying, "The Israeli army is unprepared for any scenario in Gaza or Lebanon."

Moreover, Israeli occupation forces spokesperson Daniel Hagari has stated that achieving the goal of "eliminating Hamas" was unrealistic.

“Hamas is an idea. Those who think it can be made to disappear are wrong,” Hagari told Channel 13 news during an interview. He further added that anyone promising this is “misleading the public [...] If the government doesn’t find an alternative, it will remain” in Gaza, he argued.

Meanwhile, Netanyahu’s office declared in a statement that his security cabinet “has defined as one of the war goals the destruction of Hamas’s military and governance capabilities.”

The statement emphasizes that the Israeli forces are "of course committed to this."

Sayyed Nasrallah directed clear messages to the leadership of the Israeli occupation and its military, emphasizing that the threat of an eight-month-long war does not intimidate Hezbollah. He pointed out that both the occupation and the US understood that a war against Lebanon would have significant repercussions in the region.

Nasrallah claimed that Hezbollah possessed a comprehensive and real target bank with the capability to reach all targets, destabilizing the foundation of the Israeli occupation. He also warned that "the enemy knows that what awaits it in the Mediterranean Sea is also very significant."

"The enemy knows it must expect us on land, in the air, and at sea, and if war is imposed, the resistance will fight without constraints, rules, or limits," he declared.
