Sayyed Nasrallah's mastery of Israeli internal affairs worries experts
Sayyed Nasrallah has shown a deep knowledge of internal Israeli military and political affairs during a speech commemorating the 17th anniversary of the victory in the 2006 July War on Lebanon.
Yesterday's speech of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of the Lebanese Resistance Party Hezbollah, caught the attention of Israeli media outlets and commentators.
Sayyed Nasrallah demonstrated "familiarity" in analyzing "Israel's internal affairs," military expert of the Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper Yossi Yehoshua revealed.
The Resistance leader asserted that the Israeli military has not achieved any victories and its army is neither massive nor legendary, stressing that its "achievements" can be confined to airstrikes while its ground forces remain unable to secure a definitive victory on the battlefield.
He pointed to the political rift which "Israel" suffers from and its determinantal effects on the Israeli occupation forces, forcing it into its worst-ever situation, as per the statements of Israeli officials and IOF reservist officers.
In his speech, which commemorated the 17th anniversary of the 2006 July War, Sayyed Nasrallah pointed to the conscription law which Heredim Knesset members are pushing for, saying if the legislation is passed, it would constitute the "real blow to the [Israeli] army."

Yehoshua expressed his concern regarding the Resistance leader's deep knowledge and mastery of internal Israeli affairs, saying, "Nasrallah feels comfortable to the extent that he becomes our military and political analyst, this is a very valid reason for concern."
Moreover, the Israeli Maariv newspaper highlighted the leader's response to the Israeli threats about "returning Lebanon to the stone age" in any war against Lebanon following weeks of border tensions, a threat last made by Israeli Security Minister Yoav Gallant last week, saying the Israeli occupation "will also go back to the stone age" if it attacks Lebanon.

In the same context, Hazi Simantov, an expert on Arab affairs for Israeli Channel 13, said the Hezbollah leader "continues to demonstrate his knowledge on the political situation in Israel and declares in his speech that the situation of the Israeli army is the worst following the internal division in Israel."
"The enemy went from being on the offensive to being on the defense while the Israeli army today is at its worst shape in history," the Resistance leader said.
The Israeli occupation forces, he highlighted, suffer from a weak fighting spirit and a lack of willingness to combat, and the failed attempt at a raid in Gaza is a prime example of that.
The Axis of Resistance today has the initiative to a great extent as the Israeli occupation shields itself behind the walls, he stressed. "The enemy can calculate how many precision missiles the Resistance needs to strike its critical infrastructure."
He also cautioned that if the battle with the Axis of Resistance escalated into a full-blown confrontation, "this thing called 'Israel' will cease to exist."

The 2006 July War was waged by the Israeli occupation forces against Lebanon following Operation Truthful Promise in which Hezbollah succeeded in capturing two Israeli soldiers in a high-profile operation on the Lebanese-occupied Palestinian occupied border on July 12, 2006. The Israeli occupation referred to it as the "Second Lebanon War."
The war was waged with the objective of destroying Hezbollah's power and occupying wide parts of Lebanon, but it failed to do so after the Lebanese Resistance successfully confronted it and inflicted significant losses on the attacking forces, both on the frontlines and domestically.
The war ended after 33 days of fighting, without the Israeli forces managing to occupy any Lebanese territory. They faced precision strikes on land, sea, and air, as well as rocket barrages that resulted in dozens of casualties among settlers and reached the southern parts of Haifa.
