Sayyed Safieddine: West is complicit in Israeli Gaza massacres
The Palestinian Resistance was in response to the occupation, consistently opting for the clear path to liberation of occupied Palestine, Hezbollah Executive Council Chief Sayyed Hashem Safieddine says.
Hezbollah Executive Council Chief Sayyed Hashem Safieddine expressed on Saturday his pride in the Resistance that has continuously been centered on safeguarding a just cause, homeland, and sacred places.
"We will be present with our arms on every front and battlefield," he added.
During a memorial event in the town of Kounin, southern Lebanon, Sayyed Safieddine added that the Resistance was in response to the occupation, consistently opting for the clear path to liberation of occupied Palestine.
He continued: "The Israeli enemy continues to occupy our land, threatening our existence, and still harbors vengeance to avenge its defeat in 2006."
"Our cause is righteous and aims to defend nations; what is happening in Gaza today exceeds beyond the borders of Palestine," he added.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he noted that when Western powers sensed a threat to the Israeli entity, they promptly provided support and emphasized that the revenge-driven mindset of Western leaders drives them to commit genocides.
Sayyed Safieddine said that the West is a partner in the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinians.
"They can destroy mosques, churches, and hospitals, but they cannot kill the spirit of resistance within us," he stated, adding that "the acts of aggression in Gaza will further solidify the resolve of Arab and Islamic people to support resistance, and they will increase the resistance fighters' determination to uphold their righteous cause."
Sayyed Safieddine underlined that Europeans and Americans only understand the language of armed resistance and power.
