Iranian TV broadcasted scenes of the IRGC thwarting a US attempt to hijack an Iranian oil tanker in the Oman Sea. The IRGC stated earlier today that its troops have succeeded in foiling an attempt by the terrorist US Navy to steal Iranian oil in the Oman Sea.
The Iranian TV detailed that "the US forces stopped an Iranian oil tanker in the Gulf of ​​Oman, confiscated its cargo and transferred the shipment to another tanker belonging to it before heading to an unknown destination."
It added that, in conjunction with this move, the IRGC carried out a landing operation on the US tanker, assumed control over it, and immediately directed the tanker towards Iranian territorial waters. In the meantime, broadcasted scenes of the incident show IRGC members preventing a US frigate from interfering and forcing it to withdraw.

“Following the incident, several US helicopters and warships tried to regain control of the tanker, but their attempts to change the tanker's course failed," the TV detailed.
On Tuesday, the Iranian Navy announced that it had thwarted an attempt to hijack an oil tanker in the Gulf of Aden.
Iranian Navy Commander, Admiral Shahram Irani, had announced that the "Iranian forces thwarted a piracy attempt targeting two tankers in the Gulf of Aden on October 16."
