Clashes renew in Al-Sinaa prison, Al-Hasakah
A few days back, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Syria reported the renewed violent clashes between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) forces and ISIS members, in the northern dormitories inside Al-Sinaa Prison, south of the city of Al-Hasakah.
Our correspondent added that the warplanes of the US-led International Coalition carried out several raids in the vicinity of the prison.
That came despite the SDF announcing yesterday, Wednesday, the complete seizure of Al-Sinaa prison in the Syrian Al-Hasakah Governorate.
The morning before, more than 500 ISIS terrorists have surrendered to the SDF armed groups after the Al-Sinaa prison break that took place on the 20th of January in Syria's Al-Hasakah.
Close to 250 terrorists had barricaded themselves in a building following the prison break.
They surrendered to SDF forces who raided the building, raising the tally to 550. 300 ISIS terrorists had previously been captured on Monday.
ISIS began its attacks on the 20th when two car bombs exploded in front of the gates of Al-Sinaa prison for ISIS detainees, south of Al-Hasakah.
