The Islamic Endowment Department in Al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem) reported that 75 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa through the Mughrabi Gate, carrying out provocative tours in its courtyards, concentrated in the eastern parts of it.
The old area of Al-Quds and its gate are witnessing strict military measures represented in the careful inspection of citizens and worshipers in Al-Aqsa.
In parallel, the Israeli occupation forces arrested citizens today from separate areas of the West Bank. In Jenin, it arrested 3 young men, Ahmad Mu'min Abu Zaid, Mohammad Khalid Abu al-Rub, and Baha al-Din Ahmad Sadiq.
From Ramallah, it arrested 3 citizens, the writer and the freed prisoner Ahmed Qatamish (70 years old) and freed prisoner Ihab Abdel Moneim Masoud and Abdel Rahim Shoman.
From Beit Lahham, the occupation arrested 18-year-old Seif Ayman Takatika after raiding his father's house in Beit Fajjar.
In Al-Quds, it arrested 3 young men from Silwan, Louay Sami Al-Rajbi, Tamer Al-Mohtaseb, and Hussein Issa.
On Monday, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a house under construction in the village of Sikka, southwest of Al-Khalil. They assaulted the citizens and the head of Sikka village council, Walid Hashish, and fired gas bombs at them.
Reports revealed that residents of the village, located in the far southwest of Al-Khalil, are suffering because of their siege, which devoured hundreds of dunums of their agricultural lands.
The director of Sikkat School, Mohammad Al-Amayreh, said, "The wall and the bypass roads designated by the occupation forces to serve the settlers, and the fixed and mobile military checkpoints, aggravate the severity of the siege imposed on the village," pointing out that the school, which serves 254 students, is located close to the wall.
