Shelling heard in Lebanon's Dhayra, Yarine; Ayta ash-Shab outskirts
The IOF block several roads in al-Jalil after the attempted cross-over operation.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Lebanon reported that gunfire and shelling were heard in al-Dhayra in South-West Lebanon near the border with occupied Palestine.
Israeli media had also reported that 4 fighters attempted to infiltrate the settlement of "Arab Al-Aramshe" which is adjacent to the Lebanese village of al-Dhayra.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent later specified that it was a 4-member Palestinian group that attempted to cross over, and two members were martyred during the operation.
Later, Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, claimed responsibility for the infiltration into occupied Palestine from Lebanon.
"Al-Quds Brigades claims responsibility for the afternoon operation on the south Lebanon border," the group said in a statement.

Furthermore, our correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation bombed the outskirts of Ayta ash-Shab and adjacent towns, detailing that the Israeli bombing began on the border towns of al-Dhayra and Yarine before moving to the outskirts of Ayta ash-Shab.
Our correspondent pointed out that "the Israeli bombing, which has been ongoing for about an hour and a half, on the outskirts of Ayta ash-Shab actually hit residential areas," with one family miraculously fleeing their residence right before it was hit by the IOF.
Additionally, the IOF announced that several roads have been blocked in occupied al-Jalil after the attempted infiltration operation.
Israeli media noted that the situation is generally tense in the North, and called on all settlers in the region to take shelter in the fortified settlements of "Adamit", "Hanita", and "Ya'ara".
