Initially, the Israeli military command had announced that several missiles were launched from Iranian territory toward the occupied Palestinian lands, at around 3:00 am (local time)
Occupation authorities instructed settlers to enter shelters immediately and remain there until further notice. Movement outside these spaces is prohibited unless an explicit directive is issued.
However, Iranian news agencies, including the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), said that the missile was not launched from Iran. The agency explained that the missile was launched from Yemen.
"Attack Wave 21 was not carried out, and the operation carried out minutes ago was from Yemen against targets in the occupied territories," IRNA revealed.

Overnight, Israeli warplanes launched an aggression on Iran targeting several areas in the capital.
Iranian air defenses were activated over Tehran, as Israeli projectiles targeted the east, west, and north of the capital. This includes Parchin, Shiraz, and Baghestan.
Additionally, the Fars News Agency reported that a woman and her 6-year-old son were killed in an Israeli drone attack on Kermanshah Province.
Iran ready to escalate aerospace operations
Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has reaffirmed its readiness to continue aerospace operations amid ongoing regional tensions, declaring that the Israeli occupation would not experience calm in the wake of its aggression. The statement comes as the country grapples with heightened attacks, including the latest US strike on Iranian soil, which targeted Iranian nuclear facilities.
While acknowledging the sensitive stage Iran is currently navigating, Pakpour emphasized that IRGC aerospace operations remain uninterrupted, adding that “peace has been stripped from the Zionist entity.”
The IRGC commander noted a rising number of applications to join the country’s Basij, which he described as a clear reflection of growing unity among Iranians. “Each time the enemy intensifies its assaults, our cohesion and solidarity strengthen. The unity among our people has become a model worth emulating,” he said.
