A massive wave of Iranian missiles struck deep into the occupied Palestinian territories on Friday, triggering widespread panic across settlements and prompting the Israeli regime to issue emergency alerts all over the occupied territories.

Sirens sounded from the northernmost areas down to the southern city of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat), following what was initially believed to have been a UAV infiltration. Shortly after, reports confirmed that dozens of missiles had been launched from Iran toward the south, including the occupied Naqab.

Iranian state media confirmed the launch of a fresh barrage targeting the Israeli occupation. Israeli media described the missile salvo as "exceptional" both in volume and in its geographic spread, with impacts reported across central and southern areas, including Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Israeli Channel 12 reported a direct missile hit in the city of Haifa, resulting in significant material damage. Additional reports from Israeli outlets confirmed missile strikes in the central region of Gush Dan, specifically in Ramat Gan’s Beit HaHayal area.

Channel 11 described an unprecedented state of alarm: “At one moment, the entirety of Israel from north to south was inside shelters.” The Home Front Command reportedly issued direct instructions for all settlers to immediately enter fortified spaces.

All of 'Israel' lights up in red

The situation deteriorated further as sirens blared across Gaza envelope settlements, Eilat and its surrounding areas, and various zones in northern occupied Palestine. Simultaneously, attempts by the Israeli occupation’s air defenses to intercept incoming missiles were captured in dramatic footage over multiple urban centers.

Iranian media announced that missiles were headed toward both northern and southern parts of the occupied territories. i24 News described the alert as "exceptional," ordering all settlers across the occupied territories into shelters due to the scale of the strike.

In a pointed message posted to Iranian Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei’s official website, the operation was described as a form of divine justice. “The Zionist enemy is receiving its punishment... it is facing retribution now.”

Israeli media reported that the latest salvo of missiles launched toward the occupied territories included a new type of missile not previously used in earlier confrontations. This development marks a significant escalation in the ongoing Iranian offensive, both in terms of technological advancement and strategic depth.

Six impact locations, 12 injuries

According to Israeli reports, the missile strikes resulted in impacts across at least six different locations throughout the occupied Palestinian territories, with multiple injuries reported. Emergency medical services have been dispatched to areas along the coastal plain, as well as to the southern, central, and northern regions of the occupied territories, where Iranian missile impacts have been confirmed.

A spokesperson for Operation True Promise stated that the strikes were carried out using long-range, heavy-weight missiles, in addition to both combat and suicide drones. These systems were reportedly designed to bypass Israeli air defenses and maximize impact on strategic and populated areas.

Platforms monitoring the situation reported that 12 settlers were injured in Haifa as a result of the Iranian missile barrage, with at least two of them listed in critical condition.

Deterrence costs rise

Iran's missile response, logging over 400 missiles launched in recent days, has exposed the immense cost of attempting to neutralize such deterrent power. Each interception using the David's Sling system costs around $700,000, and the Arrow 3, meant to intercept ballistic missiles in space, runs up to $4 million per launch. Even older Arrow 2 interceptors cost roughly $3 million.

Beyond security matters, "Israel's" offensive operations come with their own price tag. Keeping advanced F-35 jets in the air for long-distance missions, targeting Iranian territory over 1,600 km away, costs about $10,000 per hour per jet, according to security analyst Yehoshua Kalisky. The cost of fuel, precision bombs, and support operations only amplifies the daily burden.

"Per day it is much more expensive than the war in Gaza or with Hezbollah. And it all comes from the ammunition. That's the big expense," noted Zvi Eckstein of Reichman University. His institute estimates a one-month war with Iran would cost "Israel" approximately $12 billion.

Illusion of invincibility

On the ground, Iranian precision strikes have shattered the illusion of Israeli invulnerability. Engineers and first responders describe destruction not seen in decades. "It would cost at least tens of millions of dollars to repair a single newly-built skyscraper in central Tel Aviv," said structural engineer Eyal Shalev.

More than 5,000 Israelis have been evacuated from missile-damaged neighborhoods and are now temporarily housed in state-funded hotels. Iranian targeting of critical infrastructure has been effective, including two strikes on "Israel's" largest oil refinery in the north, which forced a shutdown and left three settlers dead. Workers in key sectors have been instructed to remain at home amid growing instability.
