Sounds of explosions heard in Gaza envelope: Israeli media
Israeli media report that explosions were heard in the Gaza envelope area, and the Iron Dome was activated.
Sounds of explosions were heard in the Gaza envelope area, Israeli media reported on Saturday.
"The Iron Dome was activated in the Gaza envelope after a drone coming from Gaza managed to penetrate the envelope," Israeli newspaper Maariv military affairs commentator Tal Lev-Ram said.

"The Iron Dome system intercepted a drone over the Gaza Strip," Israeli media noted, adding that the Israeli security coordinators in the area informed the settlers that "the system was activated to intercept a drone, while no sirens were sounded during the incident."

Israeli media stated that no sirens were sounded because no rockets were fired from the direction of the Strip.
The Israeli occupation announced that it had intercepted a drone in the sky of the Gaza Strip, noting that "no missile was launched from the Strip."
It is worth mentioning that Israeli settlers in the Gaza envelope settlements reported Wednesday hearing at least three explosions, at least one of which was due to the Israeli Iron Dome intercepting a rocket fired from Gaza over the settlement of "Sderot".
"A rocket was launched from Gaza toward the city of Sderot, and it was intercepted by the Iron Dome," Israeli media said, citing an IOF spokesperson.
Palestinian resistance movement Hamas said Sunday it downed and captured an IOF military remote surveillance drone over Gaza.
The Ezzenddine Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas' military wing, said they took control of a drone during the recent aggression on Gaza and extracted sensitive information related to the occupation forces from it.
Palestinian Resistance in Gaza also fired two missiles toward occupied Askalan in response to the Israeli aggression on Jenin.
