Iran says it ‘reserves right to respond’ after Israeli attack on Syria
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi condemned Saturday's aggression on Syria, stressing that the Islamic Republic will not leave the Israeli crimes unanswered.
The continuation of such acts of the Zionist criminals is clear proof of their increasing failure to achieve their evil goals and their desperation and helplessness in confronting the Resistance, Raisi pointed out.
He also slammed the fact that the recent crimes of the usurping Zionist entity are taking place with the support of the US and the silence of international organizations.
In the same context, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani said the country strongly denounced the deadly Israeli strike, adding that Tehran "reserves the right to respond."
Kanaani said Tehran would respond "at the appropriate time and place" and denounced "an escalation in aggressive and provocative attacks" by the Israeli occupation entity.
