Hamas spokesperson, Hazem Qassem said, "The recurrent Zionist bombing of sisterly Syria is considered terrorism and bullying, and an extension of the aggression against our nation."

Qassem pointed out that Syria has the right to defend itself and confront the occupation's aggression, stressing that all the forces of the living nation must unite in confronting the occupation's aggression and put an end to its terrorism. 

At dawn today, the Syrian air defense media repelled an Israeli missile attack targeting some points in the vicinity of the city of Homs.

A military source told SANA that Syrian air defense systems repelled an attack in the Homs Governorate in central Syria on Saturday night.

The Israeli occupation army reported on the explosion of an anti-aircraft missile fired from Syria and exploded in the sky of the occupied Palestinian territories. 

The occupation said that shrapnel from the missile, which was fired from Syria, fell in the city of Rahat in Al-Naqab, south of occupied Palestine. 

On June 14m Syrian Arab Army soldier was wounded by an Israeli missile attack targeting military positions in rural Damascus, Syria, and Syrian Arab Army air defenses managed to shoot down several missiles.

In a statement to SANA, a military source said "At around 1:5 a.m. today, the Israeli enemy carried out aerial aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points south-west of Damascus. Our air defense media responded to the aggression rockets and dropped some of them."

In turn, the Al Mayadeen correspondent in Syria reported that the explosions were concentrated in the western and southern regions of the countryside of Damascus towards the city of Al-Kiswah.

On May 29, the Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that the Israeli aggression that targeted the vicinity of Damascus was carried out using four missiles and targeted military sites.
