Syria: Three soldiers martyred in Israeli missile attack on Damascus
A Syrian military source reveals that the Israeli occupation executed an attack with a volley of rockets from the direction of Lake Tabarayya.
Three Syrian soldiers were martyred on Thursday as a result of Israeli aggression on Damascus.
“At about 1:10 a.m. on Thursday, the Israeli enemy carried out an aerial aggression with bursts of missiles from the direction of northern Lake Tiberias, targeting some points in the vicinity of Damascus City, and our air defense system confronted the missiles and downed most of them,” a military source told Syria's SANA news agency.
The source further added that the attack resulted in three martyrs and some material damages.
Syria's Ministry of Defense announced yesterday that an Israeli attack targeted certain points in the vicinity of Quneitra, southwest of the country. The aggression was perpetrated using a number of missiles launched from the occupied Syrian Golan, leading to material losses.
The Syrian military media quoted the Defense Ministry as saying that at approximately 12:30 local time, "Israel" carried out an aggression with several surface-to-surface missiles targeting the Quneitra area.
Almost a week ago, the Syrian Ministry of Defense also reported that Israeli forces targeted the vicinity of the town of Zakiya, south of Damascus, with several missiles and caused some material losses.
