Syrian Military Prosecution: US presence on Syrian land is occupation
Syria's military prosecution considers Al-Hasakah events a plan that aims to keep the region under US occupation for the longest possible period.
Syria's military prosecution confirmed that the US presence on Syrian territory can only be considered an occupation.
In a statement, the representative of the military prosecution pointed out that the US military presence on Syrian land is far from any justification for the use of force stated by the UN Charter.
The statement read that the US military presence bears only one name -- occupation -- according to the international law, noting that the US is supposedly a country that respects the principles of the Charter.
The US sponsoring separatist scheme
The prosecution's statement pointed out that the US occupation has sponsored the separatist scheme by supporting the SDF militia since its occupation of some parts of Syrian land under the pretext of the so-called International Coalition.
Washington enabled such militias to establish political entities as an alternative to the legitimate Syrian state institutions, the statement underlined.
US-ISIS relationship
The prosecution said despite the US concealing itself under the anti-terror propaganda, facts and documents prove and expose the relationship between the US and ISIS.
ISIS militants carried out attacks in the Syrian desert with the support of US forces stationed at Al-Tanf Base, the prosecution indicated.
The statement concluded that by occupying Syrian lands, the US is violating resolutions 1514 and 2625, noting that the recent Al-Hasakah events aim to keep the region under the US occupation for the longest possible period.
It is noteworthy that the SDF announced it restored control over Al-Sinaa prison in Al-Hasakah Province.
It is noteworthy that the prosecution presented last June evidence proving the US prepared and carried out terrorist attacks in Syria.
