Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian commended on Monday the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement for its resolute support of the Palestinian population against the crimes of the Israeli occupation.

During a meeting with the spokesperson for the movement Mohammad Abdul Salam, who is currently in Tehran for discussions, the Iranian Minister expressed Iran's backing for peace initiatives in Yemen and the ongoing talks with Saudi Arabia, reiterating his country's commitment to supporting the will and demands of the Yemeni people.

On his part, Abdul Salam praised Iran's steadfast political support for the Resistance front and provided updates on the latest developments related to peace efforts in Yemen.

Earlier in September, the Saudi Arabian Foreign Ministry acknowledged the positive outcomes of talks with the Ansar Allah delegation over a political resolution to end the eight-year aggression on Yemen.

In a separate meeting with Abdul Salam, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said the United States is the primary responsible party in the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, affirming Iran's support for the Resistance front.

Qalibaf pointed out that without the US and its military support, "Israel" would not have been able to withstand the initial impact of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood that the Palestinian Resistance launched on October 7. He also labeled the US as the root cause of problems in the Muslim world.

Abdul Salam expressed strong Yemeni support for the Palestinian people in their Resistance against the Israeli occupation, lauding Iran's backing for the Yemeni people and underlining that all of Yemen's resources, including its weaponry, are directed toward serving the interests of the Muslim nation.

The Yemeni spokesperson stressed that his country currently possesses the capability to assume an operational role alongside the Resistance front, emphasizing that Yemen stands against the intimidation of the Israeli occupation and the US in the region.

On his part, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Ali Akbar Ahmadian, praised, during a meeting with Abdul Salam, the courageous measures taken by the Yemeni government and people in support of the Palestinian cause against "Israel's" aggression.

It is noteworthy that the Yemeni Armed Forces have reiterated more than once that they will continue to carry out military operations in the Red and Arabian seas against Israeli ships or vessels bound to the Israeli occupation entity until needed food and medicine are delivered to the Gaza Strip, confirming that the army is "fully committed to ensuring the continued maritime navigation to all destinations except to the Israeli entity."
