Al Mayadeen will air a documentary series today at 11 PM al-Quds time, which examines the repercussions of Al-Aqsa Flood and its impact on Palestine, the Arab world, and beyond.
Al Mayadeen will showcase its new documentary series, The Flood, starting this Saturday evening. The series will discuss Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, described as the largest and most massive in the history of operations launched by the Palestinian Resistance against "Israel" since the beginning of the occupation.
The series examines the repercussions of this Flood and its impact on Palestine, the Arab world, and beyond. Each weekly episode includes documentation, dialogue, and analysss to provide a comprehensive view of the situation.
Operation Al-Aqsa Flood is presented within a series of titles and issues that trace the narrative leading up to October 7. It highlights the political and military preludes to the event, as well as the international repercussions and echoes that followed, ultimately bringing Palestine and its cause back to the forefront of global political and public interest.
The series delves into the conditions of the battle and the realities on the ground both inside and outside Palestine, exploring the role played by the Axis of Resistance's support fronts.
While the series examines the historical contexts that have transformed the Palestinian resistance into a legendary struggle, it also addresses the ideological dimensions that highlight the brutality of the occupation during wartime and the erosion of fundamental human and moral values.
Strategic deception
The series will begin with an episode focused on the theme of “strategic deception” employed by Hamas before October 7, which ensnared the occupation. Additionally, an episode titled “The Morning of the Crossing” is dedicated to the events of the first day of the Flood, examining its conclusions and implications, along with the regional and international responses to it.
The series selects a range of topics to address independently and in-depth, including the new iteration of popular Resistance and the asymmetric warfare emerging from Gaza, the support fronts and their roles, the ideology of genocide and the Israeli mindset, the limits and prospects of US support for the occupation, the rise of the Global South in international judicial bodies, and the strategic impact of student protests in the West, among others.
It is noteworthy that while the series draws on the narratives of various events, its primary focus is to shed light the key conclusions and insights of this historical epic.
The series will air on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 11:00 PM al-Quds time, produced by Mohammad Faraj and directed by Joseph Shamali.
