The US knows the solution in the region is political: Iranian FM
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian addresses the US' neglect of the politicized nature of the genocide in Gaza.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Tuesday that the United States is well aware that the solution to diffuse the tension in the region is profusely political.
On X, the top Iranian diplomat said, "The White House knows very well that the solution to ending the war and genocide in Gaza and the current crisis in the region is political. Diplomacy is active in this direction. Netanyahu is at the end of his criminal political life."
كاخ سفيد بخوبی میداند که راه حل پایان جنگ و نسلکشی غزه و بحران کنونی در منطقه، سیاسی است.

The remarks come as the United States continues to disregard and impede all attempts to stop the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
This comes after the Iranian Minister warned of a greater war in the region.
'Scope of war is now wider'
In an exclusive interview with Martha Raddatz, ABC News Chief Global Affairs Correspondent, on Tuesday, Iran's top diplomat said, "The scope of the war has become wider. This means that the danger of having a wider war in the region has gone up."
Elsewhere in his remarks, he attributed the escalating tensions to the United States and "Israel".
"If the U.S. today stops its backing -- logistical and weapons, political and media support -- of the genocidal war launched by Israel, then I can assure you that [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu will not survive for 10 minutes," he affirmed. "So the key to solving the problem is in Washington before it is in Tel Aviv."
Earlier, Amir-Abdollahian said the United States' full support for the Israeli occupation is the "root" of instability and insecurity in the region.
He warned that the US and President Joe Biden "should not tie his destiny to the fate of Netanyahu," referring to the latter's dwindling political future.
“The full-scale cooperation of Biden and the White House with thugs like Netanyahu in Israel is the root of insecurity in the region,” Amir-Abdollahian added.
