Three IOF soldiers killed in Egypt border shootings
Israeli media say assessments in "Israel" suggest that the operation on the Egyptian border was carried out by an Egyptian soldier.
The Israeli occupation military on Saturday confirmed that two Israeli soldiers -- one male and one female -- were shot and killed in what was described as a "security incident" near the border between Egypt and occupied Palestine, Israeli media reported.
According to the Israeli occupation military's preliminary investigation, the two soldiers were discovered dead after failing to respond to radio calls early Saturday morning.
The Israeli Kan channel pointed out that it took occupation forces several hours to discover the killing of the two soldiers.
The occupation military mentioned that there was another exchange of fire in the region hours later, which resulted in the killing of a third soldier as well as a suspected shooter, adding that it was looking into the circumstances of the incident.

The director of Al Mayadeen office in occupied Palestine confirmed earlier that the shooting kept going near the "Nitzana" crossing with Egypt.

Earlier today, Israeli media reported that at least two Israelis were wounded in a gunfire incident on the border with Egypt on Saturday morning.
The media indicated that the injuries were evacuated for medical treatment, noting that the severity of their injuries was still unknown.
The Israeli occupation military confirmed that it is currently investigating the circumstances of the shooting that was described by the media as "a serious security incident."
