Three Lebanese civilians were martyred on Wednesday in a series of Israeli drone strikes that targeted multiple towns in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
In the latest attack, one martyr was reported following a drone strike on a motorcycle in the town of Aitaroun, in the Bint Jbeil district.
Earlier in the day, another martyr was confirmed and one person wounded in a separate Israeli drone strike on the town of Yater, also in Bint Jbeil. According to the town’s mayor, Khalil Korani, the victim, identified as Ali Hassan Abdul Latif Sweidan, was operating a bulldozer to clear rubble from his own war-damaged home when the drone targeted him directly.
Additionally, another martyr was killed in the morning when the Israeli occupation launched a drone strike on a civilian vehicle in the town of Ain Baal, further south.
Israeli violations of ceasefire escalate
These attacks come as “Israel” continues its daily violations of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, maintaining a pattern of relentless escalation and cross-border assaults on civilian areas.
Earlier today, the National News Agency reported that Israeli warplanes and surveillance drones carried out reconnaissance flights at medium altitudes over the western and central sectors of southern Lebanon, particularly over border villages.
In a related development, an Al Mayadeen correspondent in southern Lebanon confirmed that an Israeli unit advanced from the al-Marj site into Lebanese territory near Wadi Hounin.
Meanwhile, an Israeli reconnaissance drone dropped three bombs on the outskirts of Kfar Chouba, while artillery shelling targeted the heights of al-Saddana in the Arqoub region.
Sustained aggression on Lebanon
The Israeli occupation continues to violate the ceasefire agreement signed on November 27, 2024, through repeated bombardments of villages in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley, as well as by maintaining its presence in five occupied points in the south.
On Monday, an Israeli drone targeted a motorcycle in the town of al-Mansouri, killing a Lebanese citizen and wounding nine others, three of whom were left in critical condition.
The brutal Israeli airstrike drew an immediate response from emergency teams, who rushed to the scene following the Israeli aggression.
The airstrike struck near a school, causing widespread panic and traumatizing students, according to videos that quickly spread on social media.
Footage showed terrified children screaming and fleeing as the blast echoed nearby, with classrooms visibly shaken and windows shattered. Teachers were seen rushing to protect the students, many of whom appeared to be in shock.

This was not an isolated incident; "Israel" has repeatedly carried out such strikes during school hours and rush hours in the past months.
