Top Tubas commander succumbs to injuries after Israeli aggression
The Factional Coordination Committee in Tubas mourns Saif Mithqal Abu Dawwas, 27, one of the leaders of the Tubas Battalion in the Al-Quds Brigades, declaring a general strike.
Saif Mithqal Abu Dawwas, 27, one of the leaders of the Tubas Battalion in the Al-Quds Brigades, has succumbed to injuries sustained from an Israeli airstrike on a vehicle in Tubas, northern West Bank.
Abu Dawwas was injured on September 5 when Israeli forces targeted a vehicle in Tubas. He was subsequently transferred to Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin.
The bombing resulted in the killing of five other Palestinians: Ahmad Fawaz Fayez Abu Daws (24), Qusai Majdi Abdullah Abdul Razek (26) from Tubas, Muhammad Awad Salem Abu Jumaa (30) from Far’a, and Muhammad Nazmi Abu Zaghah (23), as well as Muhammad Zakaria Al-Zubeidi (21) from the Jenin camp.
It is worth noting that Muhammad Zakaria Al-Zubeidi is the son of detained Palestinian Resistance leader Zakaria Zubeidi, one of the most wanted Palestinian Resistance fighters for his operations against the occupation, including his involvement in the Freedom Tunnel Operation.
The Factional Coordination Committee in Tubas mourned Abu Dawwas and declared a general strike.
Resistance confronts Israeli raids on Tubas
Since August 28, the Tubas Governorate has been subjected to a series of Israeli raids, intensifying the ongoing aggression in the northern West Bank, which has resulted in the killing of 17 Palestinians.
Recently, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, honored a group of fighters from the West Bank who were killed in Operation Terror of the Camps as part of the broader Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
The brigades also confirmed that Resistance in the West Bank has entered a "new phase" of producing explosive devices, promising their impact on the battlefield.
They also stressed the critical importance of weapons and military formations in defending land and sanctities, asserting that without them, the enemy would have violated their land and honor.
The Israeli occupation forces alongside Israeli settlers have intensified their aggression in the West Bank alongside the ongoing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023. The escalation has led to the killing of over 690 Palestinians and injured approximately 5,700 in the occupied West Bank, according to official Palestinian sources.
