Trump calls for ending 'globalist Neo-Con establishment'
Former US President Donald Trump lashes out at the Biden administration once again over the Ukraine war as well as the destruction of the US from within.
Every day that the proxy war in Ukraine goes on, the risk of a world war grows bigger and bigger, said former US President Donald Trump in a video released Thursday.
"Every day this proxy battle in Ukraine continues, we risk global war. We must be absolutely clear that our objective is to IMMEDIATELY have a total cessation of hostilities. All shooting has to stop," a transcript of the video quoted him as saying. "This is the central issue. We need PEACE without delay."
Furthermore, Trump had a lot to say about the Biden administration, saying the world has never been closer to World War III "than we are today under Joe Biden."
The former Republican President has said several times that the Ukraine war would have never happened if he were president and warned that the conflict will eventually lead up to World War III.
Trump has been consistently skeptical about US support for Ukraine and has implied he could broker a peace deal to end the war in Ukraine.
This comes shortly after US Secretary of State Antony Blinken admitted Thursday that the US government prefers sending more weapons over reconciliation-themed diplomatic contacts with Russia, TASS reported, which is needed to end the war -- thus adding more fuel to the fire.
"A global conflict between nuclear-armed powers would mean death and destruction on a scale unmatched in human history," he underlined. "It would be nuclear Armageddon. NOTHING is more important than avoiding that nightmare. We will avoid it. But we need new leadership."
The former Republican leader also called for the dismantling of the entire "globalist Neo-Con establishment", which he said was perpetually dragging the United States into endless wars, "pretending to fight for freedom and democracy abroad, while they turn us into a third-world country and a third-world dictatorship right here at home."
Trump stressed the need for overhauling and reconstituting the State Department, defense bureaucracy, and intelligence services, so as to have the "deep staters" fired and America be put first. "We have to put America First."
The president notorious for his isolationist policies and distancing the US from foreign actors underlined the need for NATO's purpose to be reevaluated, as well as that of the alliance's mission.
Furthermore, Trump, aiming for the presidency once again in 2024, insisted that Russia was not the West's greatest threat. "It's probably, more than anything else, ourselves and some of the horrible, U.S.A. hating people that represent us."
According to the former leader, what actually constitutes a threat to the United States is "the abolition of our national borders", failure to police cities, destruction of the rule of law, the collapse of the nuclear family, as well as various other Republican talking points.
"These globalists want to squander all of America’s strength, blood, and treasure, chasing monsters and phantoms overseas—while keeping us distracted from the havoc they’re creating right here at home," he said right after condemning the "globalist class that has made us totally dependent on China."
Speaking in Davenport, Iowa, former US President Donald Trump confidently told his supporters on Tuesday that he is the only president that could effectively prevent World War III from happening.
"I am the only candidate who could make this promise. I will prevent World War III because I really believe you're going to have World War Three," he said.
Trump has made similar promises in the past that there would be "no dead people" in Ukraine or on the US being closer to a nuclear war as long as US President Joe Biden is in office.
