US President Donald Trump divulged Thursday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may pay him a visit as soon as next week, as "Israel" increases its attack on the Gaza Strip.
Trump revealed he spoke to Netanyahu on Thursday and expects he will come to the US "sometime in the not so distant future -- maybe next week.”
The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the IOF in Gaza.
He paid a visit to Hungary on Thursday, his first trip to Europe since the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for him and former Security Minister Yoav Gallant in November.
Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have urged Hungary to arrest Netanyahu and give him over to the ICC.
Israeli airstrikes on Thursday afternoon targeted a school sheltering displaced Palestinians in eastern Gaza City, resulting in dozens of casualties, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported Thursday.
The Gaza Government Media Office reported that at least 29 Palestinians were killed and more than 100 others were injured in what it described as a new massacre targeting displaced civilians at the Dar al-Arqam school in the al-Tuffah neighborhood.
Among the victims were 18 children, a woman, and an elderly person, the media office stated, adding that "the occupation has so far targeted 229 displacement and shelter centers in blatant violation of all international conventions."
"This brutal Israeli aggression comes amid an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe," the office continued. "The health sector is on the verge of total collapse due to the destruction of hospitals and the ongoing blockade, making it extremely difficult to provide medical care to the wounded."
Hundreds martyred since aggression renewal
Since "Israel" renewed its aggression on the Strip on March 18, 2025, the toll has climbed to 1,066 martyrs and 2,597 injuries. The cumulative toll of the genocide since October 7, 2023, has now climbed to 50,423 martyrs and 114,638 injuries, according to the latest figures from Gaza’s Health Ministry.
Several victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and civil defense teams.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Security Minister Israel Katz declared that Israeli forces were expanding operations to eliminate Palestinian Resistance fighters and infrastructure while seizing large territories to be integrated into "Israel’s" security zones.
