The protests come at a time where sources recently divulged to Al Mayadeen that a new government would be announced within the next few hours.

Earlier, the Tunisian President had accused some parties of robbing the will of the Tunisian people through a 'secret dictatorship' seeking to dominate the state.

During his meeting with Prime Minister delegate Najla Bouden, he stressed that those who starved the Tunisian people would be dealt with harshly.

On the subject of demonstrations in support of Saied, he boasted that approximately 1.8 million people supported him without bribery.
