Two Israeli massacres in al-Bureij and Sheikh Radwan, Gaza Strip
The Israeli occupation continues to target various areas of the Gaza Strip, committing two massacres in al-Bureij in the central region of the Strip and the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City.
The Israeli occupation persisted in its aggression against the Gaza Strip for the 255th consecutive day, with ongoing bombardments targeting various areas of the Strip, resulting in additional civilian casualties and injuries.
On Monday, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent confirmed that at least nine Palestinians were killed in the Israeli occupation's bombing of two houses in al-Bureij, located in the central region of the Gaza Strip. Additionally, four others lost their lives in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City.
Al-Zaytoun neighborhood and residential areas south of the city were subjected to Israeli artillery shelling and gunfire from vehicles as the occupation's forces attempted to invade the neighborhood.
Israeli bombing and raids also targeted the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, according to our correspondent.
'Tactical cessation' of the war in Rafah - an 'Israeli lie'
Regarding the occupation’s claim of implementing a “temporary truce” in Rafah, the government media office in Gaza dismissed this as an Israeli lie, describing it as a "tactical pause in hostilities."
The office emphasized the urgent need to open the Rafah crossing to address the population's humanitarian needs, particularly in the northern Gaza Strip, where medicine and food shortages have created a dire situation.
According to the government media office, more than 16,000 children were killed by the occupation during the ongoing war on the Gaza Strip.
The latest figures released by the Ministry of Health in Gaza on Sunday revealed that the toll of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 37,337 martyrs and 85,299 injuries.
In its daily report, the Health Ministry mentioned that the Israeli occupation forces committed three massacres in 24 hours only, killing a total of 41 and injuring 102 others. It noted that several victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
