At least two people were killed after Israeli forces struck an agricultural shed near the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, in the northern West Bank, on Monday.
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the death of 33-year-old Youssef al-Amer, while the Palestinian Red Crescent said it had recovered the body of an unidentified victim. Witnesses reported seeing an Israeli military bulldozer removing another body, as Israeli media sources claimed the strike killed three people.
Locals discovered human remains in the agricultural shed that Israeli forces had demolished, first shelling it, then setting it ablaze while surrounding the young men trapped inside, after Palestinian fighters engaged an Israeli special operations unit that had raided the town.
Israeli forces fired shells at the agricultural shed, completely burning it down, before a military bulldozer demolished what remained. Following the assault, the troops withdrew entirely from Qabatiya.

In addition, Israeli forces carried out raids in other areas of the West Bank, with troops storming the village of Azmut, east of Nablus, in the northwestern part of the region.
Meanwhile, a large contingent of Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by heavy vehicles, moved into villages northwest of occupied al-Quds to carry out demolition operations.
At dawn, Israeli forces conducted an arrest campaign in the East al-Quds neighborhood of Issawiya, only to raid the town again hours later, this time accompanied by the occupation's municipality crews who photographed buildings and distributed demolition orders to residents.
In southern al-Khalil, in the southern West Bank, an armed settler released his sheep near a Palestinian home in the Shuaib al-Batm area of Masafer Yatta.
Settlers also released their livestock among Palestinian homes in the al-Auja Spring area northeast of Areeha in the eastern West Bank, while in a separate pre-dawn incident, settlers attacked a house in the town of Turmus'ayya, north of Ramallah, and attempted to set it on fire.
