Two Lebanese citizens were martyred in an Israeli drone strike targeting the town of Dabaal in southern Lebanon.
The attack marks yet another blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement signed on November 27, 2024, reflecting "Israel's" ongoing pattern of aggression and disregard for Lebanese sovereignty.
The two young men, Ali Gharib and Muhammad Haidar Aboud, were killed by the Israelis while feeding chickens in a coop located near their home in the town of Dabaal, according to locals' reports.
According to monitoring organizations, "Israel" has breached the ceasefire over 3,000 times, resulting in nearly 200 deaths and hundreds of injuries across Lebanon.
These repeated violations have not gone unnoticed. Speaking from Beirut's Grand Serail, US Special Envoy Thomas Barak admitted the failure of the current truce, saying: "The ceasefire agreement didn't work." His admission reflects Washington's unwillingness to enforce even the most basic obligations of peace when it comes to Israeli aggression.
On the topic of Hezbollah's armament, Barak stated that if Hezbollah is not disarmed, there would be no direct consequences or threat, but noted that Washington would be "deeply disappointed."
A resilient resistance regardless
Responding to these developments, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem made it clear that the Resistance is fully aware of the political maneuvers being carried out by the US and "Israel." "The United States and Israel realized the ceasefire agreement served the interests of Lebanon and its resistance, prompting them to escalate on the ground in an attempt to revise the deal," he said. "All this pressure has not altered the agreement."
As Israeli aggression continues and international powers fail to hold it accountable, Lebanon's Resistance stands resilient, defending its people, preserving national dignity, and refusing to be bullied into concessions that would weaken its right to self-defense.
