Two martyrs in Israeli aggression targeting Damascus countryside
Local Syrian sources have confirmed that a man and his wife were killed while their children sustained injuries following the hostile Israeli strike on their residence.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Syria reported early Saturday that a man and his wife were killed due to an Israeli airstrike targeting their home in Beit Saber in the Mount Sheikh area of the Damascus countryside.
Local sources confirmed that the couple's children sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment following the hostile Israeli strike on their residence.
Not an isolated incident
Earlier on Friday, the Syrian Ministry of Defense reported that the Israeli occupation carried out an aggression from the direction of the occupied Golan Heights, targeting a Syrian military site near the village of Kefar Yabous in the Damascus countryside.
On September 9, an Israeli aggression targeting the vicinity of the city of Masyaf in the western Hama countryside resulted in the deaths of 18 civilians and left dozens more injured.
Syria has asserted that the continuous attacks by occupation forces on its territory demonstrate that aggressive Israeli policies could escalate tensions in the region, potentially resulting in a comprehensive conflict that endangers both regional and international peace and security.
