Under the agreement, the two governments committed to developing economic relations, ensuring the free flow of goods and services, cooperation in trade fairs and exchange of expertise and knowledge, exchange of missions, regulatory cooperation, and encouraging cooperation with the private sector, research, and development, and agricultural technologies among others.
Earlier, Edge Group signed a memorandum of understanding with the Israeli Aerospace Industries aiming to develop an advanced security system against unmanned aircraft specifically for the UAE market.
Today, Israel Hayom newspaper revealed that Arab countries, including the UAE, will soon sign an unprecedented agreement with "Israel" for cooperation in the energy field.
It is worth noting that the UAE has signed several treaties and agreements with “Israel”, most notably: non-double taxation treaty, the treaty of establishing a new Israeli economic attache in Abu Dhabi, and an agreement on Israeli-Emirati cooperation in cybersecurity, in addition to cooperation in technology and other fields such as education.
In September 2020, the UAE and Bahrain signed at the White House a US-brokered normalization agreement with “Tel Aviv”.
