Days ago, the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition denounced the visit of Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid to Bahrain, holding the Bahraini regime responsible for the consequences of the visit.
Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid arrived in Bahrain last Thursday, marking the first official visit by an Israeli minister, during which he is to attend the opening ceremony of "Israel's" embassy in Bahrain.
Iran, Palestine in solidarity with the people of Bahrain
For his part, Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein AmirAbdollahian, denounced the Bahraini government's reception of the Israeli occupation Foreign Minister, Yair Lapid, to its capital, Manama. He considered it a "clear betrayal of the aspirations of the oppressed and resilient Palestinian people."
In a tweet, Amirabdollahian stressed that the Islamic Republic only recognizes "one country called Palestine and its capital is al-Quds." He also considered that "Tel Aviv will only bring about insecurity to Bahrain and the region."

In an interview for Al Mayadeen, senior Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar said that "the visit of Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid to Bahrain can be summed up in one word, treason."
Bahraini demonstrators burned tires outside the capital, Manama, and angry popular demonstrations denouncing normalization erupted, coinciding with Lapid's arrival in the capital.
Moreover, Bahrainis launched angry campaigns against the visit, with hashtags such as #Bahrain_rejects_Zionists and #Bahrainis_against_normalization going viral on social media.
