UK Fighters Escorts Russian Tu-160 Strategic Fighters
During a planned flight, UK fighters escorted Russian Тu-160 strategic fighters as stated by the Russian ministry of defense.

The flight took about 15 hours, and the jets got refueled in the air.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, two Russian Tu-160 missile carriers were escorted by British fighter jets while flying over the Barents Sea, the Norwegian Sea, and the North Sea.
In a video taken from the cockpit of a Tu-160, the British fighters approached the Russian aircraft, with only a few dozen meters separating them at one point.
According to the footage, the Russian fighter-interceptors were armed with R-33 air-to-air missiles.
The flight lasted roughly 15 hours. Aerial refueling was handled by long-range aviation crews.
The Russian Defense Ministry underlined that long-distance aviation crews often fly over the neutral water of the Arctic, North Atlantic, Black and Baltic Seas, and the Pacific Ocean.
According to the Ministry of Defense, all air forces flights are conducted in strict conformity with International Air Law.
