Ukrainian forces record videos of torturing Russian POWs to incite fear: Russia
Graphic footage has emerged of Ukrainian soldiers shooting Russians at point-blank range.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov told Sputnik that the Ukrainian military is instilling fear in people by showing footage of Russian prisoners of war (POWs) being tortured.
"One of the means of psychological pressure used by terrorists to achieve their goals is to instill a climate of fear… For this purpose, militants of nationalist units torment Russian prisoners of war by recording torture videos and disseminating these horrifying footage," Syromolotov said.

In one incident, a video of a Russian soldier being shot in the legs surfaced on the Internet, prompting Russian officials to condemn the incident.
The Ukrainian government announced in late March that it would launch an investigation, accusing Russia of staging the video.
Following the incident, the International Committee of the Red Cross stated that it was in contact with both Kiev and Moscow regarding their obligations under international humanitarian law, urging both parties to follow the Geneva conventions, particularly those pertaining to the humane treatment of POWs.
Ukrainian military official calls for castration of Russian prisoners
A Ukrainian doctor and head of the "Mobile Hospital" project in Ukraine's army, Gennady Druzenko, has lately called on doctors under his command to castrate Russian prisoners during an interview with channel Ukraine 24.
He said he gave strict orders for them "to castrate all the wounded men because they are cockroaches, not humans."
Human rights violations against civilians, Russian soldiers: UN
A report recently published by the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine (HRMMU) revealed the violations committed by Ukrainian forces against captured Russian soldiers or pro-Russia civilians in areas under the Ukrainian government's control.
The report - which will be discussed at the Human Rights Council - highlighted that the Ukrainian forces committed premeditated killings while capturing Russian soldiers or pro-Russian civilians and threatened a Russian soldier with castration in front of the camera.
