UN agencies 'alarmed' at scale of Israeli aggression on Jenin
A spokesperson for the UN humanitarian office expresses alarm over Israeli airstrikes hitting a densely populated refugee camp.
UN aid agencies said on Tuesday they were alarmed at the scale of the ongoing aggression against the city and camp of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, where 10 Palestinians were martyred and dozens were injured as of yet.
"We are alarmed at the scale of air and ground operations that are taking place in Jenin in the occupied West Bank, and airstrikes hitting a densely populated refugee camp," Vanessa Huguenin, a spokesperson for the UN humanitarian office, told a briefing.

Huguenin highlighted that three Palestinian children were among those killed at the hands of Israeli occupation forces during the aggression.
Touching on restrictions imposed by Israeli occupation forces, WHO Spokesperson Christian Lindmeier indicated that "first responders have been prevented from entering the (Jenin) refugee camp, including to reach persons who have been critically injured."
This comes as the Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the city and camp of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, for the second day in a row, while Palestinian Resistance fighters bravely confront Israeli occupation forces with barrages of bullets and detonating explosive devices.
On Tuesday, the Israeli occupation air force renewed its shelling of sites in Jenin, as occupation forces stormed the city's neighborhoods amid massive destruction as a result of the brutal aggression.
Israeli occupation warplanes bombed civilian sites, including a site in Al-Damaj area, while aircraft of various types flew over the city's sky.
On Monday, Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forced the residents of the Jenin camp to evacuate their homes in preparation for the bombing of the camp.

Palestinian media also reported that hundreds of residents of the Jenin camp were evacuated to safe places, as the occupation's aggression continued against the camp.
Fearing the response of the Palestinian resistance, the Israeli occupation military announced the deployment of Iron Dome batteries in the south and north of occupied Palestine, in anticipation of rocket fire.
Palestinian villages and cities witnessed vigils and marches in solidarity with Jenin, calling on the international community to take immediate action to stop the Israeli aggression.
