UN warns of 'thousands more' to be killed in Gaza
The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Turk, warned on Saturday that thousands more civilians might be killed if "Israel" pursues its ground invasion.
The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Turk, warned on Saturday that thousands more civilians might be killed if "Israel" pursues its ground invasion of Gaza.
Volker warned that in the context of how "Israel" has been conducting its "military operations" to date within a 56-year occupation, a possibly "catastrophic" consequence could be expected if a large-scale ground invasion takes place.
The operation will have the potential for "thousands more civilians to die," Volker added.
In Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Red Crescent announced that as a result of the unprecedented bombing targeting the Strip and the communications blackout imposed by the occupation, the ambulances and paramedic teams were completely "paralyzed".
On his part, the spokesperson for al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, Khalil al-Daqran, asked residents to "transport the injured to the hospital using their civilian cars, or any other means."
Al-Daqran also underscored that a large number of martyrs and wounded have already reached the hospital with many more anticipated.
ICRC dubs Gaza humanitarian situation 'nothing short than desperate'
Director of Operations of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Martin Schuepp announced that the current humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is "nothing short than desperate."
This comes after "Israel" isolated the Gaza Strip from the world, last night, and unleashed hundreds of missiles claiming to target Palestinian Resistance targets while targeting Gaza's civilian infrastructure.
Moreover, the Israeli occupation also limited the information circulating regarding the losses of the Israeli occupation forces in their attempted "ground invasion" in the hopes that they could sway public opinion and give the illusion of regaining control and establishing deterrence in the face of the Palestinian Resistance.

Iran, Qatar call for unified Islamic stance to end aggression on Gaza
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi held a phone call with Qatari Amir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to tackle the latest developments in Gaza.
Raisi affirmed that the Palestinian people now need the Islamic world to unify ranks more than ever.
The Iranian President added that the "support of Western countries led by the US for Zionist entity gives green light for this entity to execute its crimes in Gaza."
He emphasized that the humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached a catastrophic stage as water and electricity supplies are cut off and the entry of medicine and food is banned by the occupation.
